WooCommerce Integration
Automatic optimization for WooCommerce product images
This is a Pro feature. Activate your license to use it.
If you run a WooCommerce store, Compresso's WooCommerce integration ensures your product images are always optimized.
What It Does
- Auto-optimizes on product save — When you save a product, Compresso automatically optimizes its featured image and all gallery images
- Bulk action in Products list — Select multiple products and optimize all their images at once from the Products admin page
- Status column — See optimization status for each product directly in the Products list table
How to Enable
The WooCommerce integration activates automatically when both Compresso Pro and WooCommerce are active. No additional configuration needed.
What Gets Optimized
When a product is saved, Compresso processes:
- Featured image — The main product image
- Gallery images — All images in the product image gallery
Each image is optimized using your current compression settings, including WebP and AVIF conversion if enabled.
Bulk Optimizing Product Images
- Go to Products in your WordPress admin
- Select the products you want to optimize
- Choose Optimize Images from the bulk actions dropdown
- Click Apply
This queues all selected product images for optimization using Compresso's background processing.
